In this work are found the exercises necessary to acquire the agility, independence, strenght and absolute evenness of the fingers, and suppleness of the wrists -- prerequisites for fine execution. The exercises are designed to develop the left hand equally with the right.
The exercises are written so that after having read them a few times, they can be played quite rapidly thus providing excellent practice for the fingers with no time lost in their study. The exercises are arranged in such a way that in each succeeding exercise the fingers are rested from the fatigue caused by the previouse one.
This work is inetended for all piano students. It should be taken up after their first year. More advanced students will master these exercies very quickly and never again experience the stiffness of fingers and wrists or other principal problems of piano technique. 120 pages.
